Who we are

Make It Happen. is operated by Anca Urdea, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it means Anca Urdea trading as Make It Happen. Contact: anca@makeithappenthursday.com

What data we collect and why

We collect different types of personal data depending on how you interact with us:

When you take the Dream-to-Done Audit (free diagnostic)

We collect your name, email address, and your responses to the Audit questions. We use this to deliver your personalised results by email and, if you have opted in, to send you follow-up emails about Make It Happen. programmes.

When you join our mailing list or waitlist

We collect your name and email address to send you updates about Make It Happen. and related content.

When you join our WhatsApp Community

We collect your phone number in order to add you to and, where necessary, remove you from the relevant WhatsApp groups. Your WhatsApp display name and profile photo are also visible to other group members. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and has its own privacy policy.

When you purchase a programme (Sprint, Beta, or Round)

We collect your name, email address, and payment details. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles this securely under their own privacy policy.

When you participate in a programme

We may collect information you share during coaching sessions, group calls, or community discussions, including goals, progress updates, and personal reflections. This information is used solely to deliver the coaching service.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

Contract: To deliver services you have purchased or signed up for (Audit results, programme access, coaching).

Consent: To send you marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.

Legitimate interest: To improve our services and understand how people use them.

Age restriction

Our services are designed for individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have collected data from a person under 18, please contact us at anca@makeithappenthursday.com and we will delete it promptly.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data to anyone. We share data only with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf:

Tally (form hosting) collects your Audit responses.

Make.com (automation) transfers your Audit data to our email platform.

MailerLite (email marketing) stores your email address and sends emails on our behalf.

Stripe (payment processing) processes your payments.

HubSpot (customer relationship management) manages client communications and programme delivery.

WhatsApp / Meta (community platform) hosts group conversations.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and processes data in accordance with their own terms.

Where your data is stored

Your data may be processed and stored outside the United Kingdom by the service providers listed above. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements. Where data is transferred to the United States (for example, by Stripe or HubSpot), this is covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards recognised under UK GDPR.

How we protect your data

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We use reputable, established service providers, and access to your data is limited to Anca Urdea and the third-party processors listed above.

How long we keep your data

Email marketing (MailerLite): If you unsubscribe, your data is removed from our mailing list within 30 days.

Phone numbers: Retained for as long as you are an active member of any Make It Happen. WhatsApp group. Deleted within 30 days of your removal from all groups.

Client and contact records (HubSpot): We retain records of your interactions with Make It Happen. (such as Audit responses, programme participation, and communications) for up to 3 years after your last interaction with us, to support your experience if you return. After 3 years of inactivity, your data is deleted unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.

Payment records: Retained for 6 years as required by UK tax law.

If you would like your data deleted sooner, you can request this at any time (see Your Rights below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you. Correct any inaccurate data. Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements). Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time. Object to processing based on legitimate interest. Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
